Most Effective Olymp Trade Trading Tricks

Search for Olymp Trade tricks and you will find plenty of pages promising a shortcut. This is not one of them. The honest version is less exciting and far more useful: what separates traders who last from traders who empty an account in a week is not a secret technique, it is process. Choosing fewer, better setups. Sizing every position the same way. Walking away from the marginal ones. The method below is a real, specific setup you can read on a chart, but the setup is only the visible part — the discipline around it does the work.

The Setup: Bollinger Bands Crossed With an EMA

The approach on this page uses Bollinger Bands combined with an Exponential Moving Average (EMA), read on the fast OTC charts that Olymp Trade is known for. Bollinger Bands describe where price sits relative to its recent average and how stretched it has become. A short EMA tracks the immediate direction. When the fast EMA line crosses a Bollinger line, you have a defined moment to evaluate, rather than a vague feeling that it looks like it might turn.

Settings and Timeframe

Those numbers are a starting point, not a magic combination. A standard deviation of 3 is deliberately wide, so touches of the outer band are rare and mean something when they happen. The 5-period EMA is deliberately fast, so it reacts inside a two-minute window. If you change one, change only one, and watch what it does to the number of signals before you decide it is an improvement.

Reading the Signal

Two conditions are worth your attention together:

  1. The crossing: the yellow Bollinger line crosses the red EMA line. That is the trigger — the moment you start evaluating, not the moment you click.
  2. Market condition: a sideways market suits this setup, because the bands are describing a range price keeps returning to. In a strong trend the same crossing appears constantly and tells you much less.

The second condition is the one most people skip, and it is the one that matters most. A crossing inside a clean range is a setup. The identical crossing inside a hard uptrend is noise with a nice-looking line through it. Learning to tell those apart on sight is worth more than any extra indicator you could stack on the chart.

The Tricks That Actually Move the Needle

If you want to compare timeframes, the Olymp Trade 1 minute strategy applies the same discipline on a slower clock, and the Quickler 5 second strategy looks at the fastest end of the platform. For background on how short-expiry trading works there, see the Quickler Option overview.

FAQ

Is there an Olymp Trade trick that wins every trade?

No. No setup, indicator or trick wins every trade, and any page telling you otherwise is selling something. Losing trades are a normal, permanent part of short-expiry trading. What you can control is how large each loss is and how many you take before you stop for the day.

Can I use these settings on other timeframes?

You can, but expect the behaviour to change. The 40/3 Bollinger and 5 EMA are tuned to the 5-second candle. On a slower chart the crossings become less frequent and slower to appear, which is not automatically worse — just different. Test any change on a demo account across a decent sample before trusting it with real funds.

Do I need paid indicators for this?

No. Bollinger Bands and EMAs are built into every charting package, so the method above works with the standard tools you already have. The alert indicators on this site, including Binary Sniper Pro, simply automate the watching so you are not staring at a 5-second chart waiting for a cross. They are included in the single $39 lifetime plan, but nothing here requires them.
