What is Stochastic ADX Alert?
Stochastic ADX Alert is a two-in-one signal indicator for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. It combines the Stochastic %K/%D crossover (5, 3, 3 by default) with an ADX trend-strength filter (period 14, minimum 20), so choppy, weak-market crossovers are skipped automatically.
How the Signals Work
- BUY / CALL arrow: %K crosses above %D from the lower half of the range (%K below 50) while ADX is above the minimum strength level — a fresh turn with real trend strength behind it.
- SELL / PUT arrow: %K crosses below %D from the upper half of the range (%K above 50) while ADX is above the minimum strength level — a fresh turn with real trend strength behind it.
- Non-repaint: signals confirm on the closed candle, so an arrow stays put once it prints — what you see in history is what you would have traded live.

The moment a valid signal appears, Stochastic ADX Alert can notify you four different ways — each one can be switched on or off in the settings:
